Our York USA Olympic bars are bar none—the best. Each is guaranteed for life, and represents 44 lbs. of skilled craftsmanship, and 865/8" of American ingenuity. Each of the Olympic bars is made of elevated temperature drawn alloy steel. The Olympic Competition Bar features needle-bearing sleeves for exceptionally smooth, fluid and consistent rotation, the Olympic Training Bar features oil impregnated brass bushings ensuring consistent rotation. Both bars are available in both men’s and women’s versions. USA Olympic Competition Bar meets International Weightlifting Federation equipment specifications.

The Power Bar offers an unparalleled blend of strength and resilience with a minimum yield strength of 165,000 psi. It features an aggressive knurling and sleeve rotation is free and constant due to sintered-bronze bushing. The USA Power Bar meets International Powerlifting Federation equipment specifications.

Our patented cast iron and urethane dual-grip G2 Olympic Plates are a multi-functional adjunct to the Rubber Training Bumper Plates and York Barbell’s premier USA-made Elite Olympic Competition Rubber Bumper Plates. With a true 2.00-inch diameter center hole, it is guaranteed to fit tightly around our 1.975-inch Olympic bar.

York re-designed its patented Pick-up Plate by adding two additional slotted finger inserts on the rim making it one of the easiest economy plates to maneuver. The cast iron Quad Grip Plate’s distinctive four-slot finger insert is masterfully designed to encourage ease in pick-up while maintaining the dual-sided, deep-dish flange for ease in carrying and loading the plates. The 2-inch hole plates fit all York Olympic bars and are available in Hammer tone Gray. Plates are standard size.

These training discs are made with pulverized rubber and provide excellent flooring protection and can be used with any York Olympic bar. The rubber is combined with a polymer adhesive that is molded using a high-intensity heat compression technique. All plates are reinforced with a 2” bronze center sleeve.

Years of precision engineering and tooling earned York Barbell a reputation
for building some of the finest Olympic Competition and Power Bars in the industry.
York applied its vast knowledge in bar design and produced perhaps the highest
quality, most functional and attractive imported Olympic Bars today. York applied its
signature “split sleeve” to each bar and designed a precision internal dual roll pin
sleeve assembly. The replacement of the outmoded bolt sleeve assembly means the
bar will not loosen or detach.

Each bar is heat tempered. The hard chrome finish is more durable and decreases
the liability associated with the chipping, cracking or peeling common with the use of bright chrome.

York’s Pro Hex Dumbbell is an economy dumbbell with plenty of special features. The softened edges of the dumbbell heads improve paint durability and adhesion by lessening the likelihood of cracking and chipping often experienced with the sharper edge hex heads. The knurled handles are ergonomically contoured to fit comfortably in the user’s palm. Handles vary from 30 mm grip for increments through 20 lbs., increasing to a 35 mm grip for increments 25 lbs. through 100 lbs.

Handles are hydraulically pressed creating a “fishtail” steel handle end. The handles are then permanently embedded in the heads by pouring molten iron around the fishtailed ends of a thick 35 mm solid steel shaft improving the strength of the head/handle joint. York is so confident in the structural integrity of its Pro Hex Dumbbell that it offers the industry’s leading lifetime warranty against head detachment.

These safe, attractive dumbbells have contoured, knurled chrome handles and durable rubber-covered heads for increased safety and comfort. The heads are torque-threaded and permanently affixed to a thick 35 mm solid steel shaft improving the strength of the head/handle joint. The knurled chrome handles are ergonomically contoured to fit comfortably in the users’ palm. Smaller handles graduate up from 25 mm grip to 35 mm grip for increments 20 lbs. through 125 lbs. The rubber coating increases durability, protects flooring and equipment, enhances appearance, diminishes noise and is easy to clean. York offers a lifetime warranty on the structural integrity and that the heads will not detach from the bar.
